Life and Disability

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance provides you with 1x your basic salary with a minimum benefit of $40,000. The cost of this coverage is provided by Rent-A-Center to all full-time coworkers.

Voluntary Life Insurance provides you with additional life insurance up to 5x your basic annual salary available at affordable group rates. You also have access to group life insurance rates for your legal spouse and/or child.

State Sponsored Disability Plans: If you live in a state which provides state disability benefits, you will be automatically enrolled in the plan when you are eligible.

Short Term Disability: For those without state plans, this program provides you with weekly income when you cannot work. The benefit pays you 60% of your eligible earnings, with a maximum weekly benefit of $1,500.

Long Term Disability: Begins where your short-term disability coverage ends and provides a monthly check for 60% of your covered earnings, up to an annual maximum.
