eCommerce Product Analyst 

(Plano Texas Full-Time In-Office) 


Purpose/Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented eCommerce Product Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in understanding and optimizing the performance of our eCommerce products. The eCommerce Product Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance the overall customer experience and drive business growth.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities 


Data Analysis 

  • Analyze eCommerce data including sales, customer behavior, and website analytics, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Utilize statistical methods to draw meaningful insights from large datasets. 

Product Performance Evaluation 

  • Assess the performance of eCommerce products, features, and promotions, providing insights on what is working well and areas of improvement. 
  • Monitor KPIs and develop reports to track product success metrics. 

User Behavior Analysis 

  • Analyze user behavior on the eCommerce platform to understand customer journeys, preferences, and friction points. 
  • Provide recommendations to improve the user experience and increase customer satisfaction. 

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams 

  • Work closely with executive management, product managers, marketing teams and developers to provide data-driven insights that inform product development and marketing strategies. 
  • Forecasting and Predictive Analysis 
  • Develop models and forecasts to anticipate eCommerce product performance and trends 
  • Create and deliver clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. 


Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline. 
  • 2-4 years of experience in eCommerce analytics, product analysis, or a similar role. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, PowerBI. 
  • Experience in customer journey analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, ContentSquare or similar technologies is preferred. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms, online retail processes, and customer behavior. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation.
