Summer 2024 Internship candidates will take part in a ten-week program onsite at our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas, running from June 3 to August 9, 2024.

 

What You Will Do:

The Process Automation Developer Intern will be responsible for ensuring our organization’s Information Technology systems and processes comply with industry regulations and standards and that we have effective risk management processes in place. In this internship the in intern will work directly with technologists at Upbound to produce cohesive, automated JIRA environment from which to manage PCI and SOX review processes. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct interviews with PCI and SOX analysts and system administrators to ascertain the type of data and activities and the flow to clarify and automate the process using JIRA
  • Document, create and facilitate the testing of the new JIRA environment

 

What You Will Gain:

As an intern with Upbound Group, you will develop a more automated and descriptive process in Atlassian JIRA that requests the appropriate PCI and SOX evidence, instructs the reviewers/approvers of their specific responsibilities, and captures the provided evidence and approvals and any changes requested by the the reviewers/approvers. 

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Must be a rising Junior or above at an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Previous work or classroom experience in one of the following is preferred: Security Management, Governance - Risk - Compliance, or IT Auditing
  • Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Must be able to work M-F; 8 am – 5 pm onsite at Upbound’s Corporate office in Plano

 

Summer 2024 Internship candidates will take part in a ten week program onsite at our corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas, running from June 3 to August 9, 2024.
