Paid Social Media Manager
Job Purpose: First and foremost, to be a company advocate and love what we do. Proactively bring Rent-A-Center’s and Acima’s compelling stories to life across paid social and paid search platforms. Effectively manage these critical channels to maximize investments/ROI and nurture the customer journey. Help attain qualified leads, convert new customers, retain existing customers, and re-engage lapsed customers in collaboration with Digital Media and Web Analytics teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Work within marketing shared services and help support multiple Rent-To-Own (RTO) and Lease-To-Own (LTO) brands by building, implementing, and actively managing large-scale paid social campaigns to increase new customer acquisition and drive retention
- Collaborate with AOR on large-scale paid search campaigns including ad copy creation, testing schedules, ongoing optimizations, and performance insights that can potentially be leveraged in additional media channels
- Proactively identify new media and creative opportunities while fostering a relationship with Rent-A-Center’s Facebook and Google reps
- Partner with Web Analytics team to glean insights from creative, messaging, and audience segmentation tests to maximize marketing effectiveness to successfully set and meet campaign KPIs. Deliver performance results and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Open jobs with internal creative services or external creative agency that prioritize messaging, imagery, and ad goals
- Partner with internal teams to assist with marketing initiatives for new store openings
- Collaborate across marketing channel owners, internal communications, public relations, and customer service to create synergy and elevate campaign awareness
- Stay informed on social and search advertising industry best practices and trends, as well as direct competitor activities in the space
- Partner with outside agency for franchisee social support
- Collaborate with and occasionally help cover for Marketing Specialist focused on organic content and paid social for Get It Now/Home Choice sister brands
- Support Director with assistance in additional performance media channels
What We’re Looking For:
- You have a passion for social and search and how the two channels can complement one another
- 6 - 8 years’ experience in paid social and paid search platforms, specifically Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
- Highly analytical and detail oriented with the ability to marry and push live creative, audiences and budget
- You are highly motivated, a brilliant communicator and a resourceful problem-solver with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and resourcefulness to help meet ambitious growth goals
- You have experience managing and executing projects with digital agencies and tech partners
- Tik Tok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn Ads Manager experience a plus
- Media agency experience a plus
