CRM Marketing Specialist



Assist and coordinate the implementation and optimization of Rent-A-Center and Acima CRM channels, primarily email, within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Zeta (ZMP). Other channels can include SMS, social, direct mail, and push.



  • Assist with building B2C and B2B email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Zeta including list building, audience targeting, deployment and monitoring
  • Grow knowledge of marketing and transactional data objects to assist with campaign changes and optimizations
  • Assist legal and compliance teams with audits and making sure content and processes are compliant
  • Ensure campaigns deploy accurately and on time and communicate and troubleshoot with urgency when campaigns go down and assist in root cause analysis
  • Update content in emails to match compliance and marketing requirements as overflow from

HTML team, develop CSS, Liquidscript, and AMPscript working knowledge

  • Work collaboratively to execute programs and initiatives and communicate project status and help coordinate competing timelines
  • Monitor campaign automations and successful deployments for reoccurring and ad hoc campaigns
  • Provide assistance on multichannel campaign executions that span SMS and Direct Mail channels as directed
  • Additional duties as assigned, including supporting of other Rent-A-Center, Inc brands
  • Learn and grow in your one-to-one marketing expertise, and become a leader in your functional area and beyond



  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Fintech or retail store-based marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in email marketing and/or Marketing including project coordination
  • Email campaign management (Zeta, Salesforce/Corporate Edition, SendGrid/Twilio, CheetahMail, Sparkpost, etc.) experience a must
  • Experience with marketing automation and personalization platform, such as Zeta, preferred
  • Litmus, E-datasource (Sparkpost), Google Analytics expertise a plus
  • Experience with marketing automation and deployments
  • Experience working with content and creative teams/agencies including design and copywriting functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Teams experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize work and process driven
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail; meets deadlines or elevates obstacles in a timely manner
  • Provide solutions, able to navigate ambiguity
  • Results-oriented, understands KPIs
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management successfully
  • Must be a self-starter and team-oriented
  • Professional and positive demeanor in all interactions
