Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for CRM tools and processes to execute CRM strategies for Acima. This role is the subject matter expert for the Acima email service provider (ESP) and customer data platform (CDP). It is a mix of hands-on technical execution with an eye for the future to develop scalable solutions and improve the day-to-day management of campaigns and reporting. CRM channels include email, SMS and push notifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support a strong infrastructure within the marketing automation platform for B2C and B2B campaigns
  • Take in requirements for campaigns across Marketing, Sales, Product and Legal/Compliance for promotional, triggers and transactional communications
  • Create audiences, set up data extensions/shared DEs, automations, cross channel journeys, deployments and send monitoring
  • Work with Data Services to validate new audiences and gain working knowledge of all data objects and dictionaries
  • Support API work for sends/adding contacts and send logs/extracts for reporting
  • Monitor journeys and automations, and troubleshoot with urgency when campaigns go down and assist in root cause analysis
  • Steward and implement metadata
  • Test and learn by working with business owners and create a collaborative environment for continuous improvements
  • Assist legal and compliance teams with audits and making sure content and processes are compliant
  • Update content on emails to match compliance and marketing requirements as overflow from HTML team
  • Support activities including IP warming, complaint processing, reply mail management and subscription

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Fintech or retail experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience executing marketing automation campaigns on an enterprise-grade platform; Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Zeta Marketing Platform preferred; experience overseeing the migration of platforms a plus
  • Strong SQL, HTML and CSS skills and experience
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Provides solutions with the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Must be a self-starter and team-oriented
