Job PurposeManager, Learning Management System is primarily responsible for optimizing our digital learning environment and integrations between our systems and external content sources. The Manager also ensures quality of internal/external learning content and builds relevant analytics to support broader adoption to blended learning approaches.


Key Responsibilities:


Elevate our learning technology platform strategy

  • Demonstrate significant expertise with relevant learning management platforms and content technology
  • Explore, recommend, curate, and implement creative approaches to program design to broaden and enrich the LMS experience for all LOBs
  • Direct the configuration, support, and periodic upgrades of all learning technology platforms
  • Manage direct relationships with learning technology vendors and content providers; ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Develop systems to ensure regular quality checks for learning technology; react quickly and efficiently to customer feedback/requests


Manage overall maintenance and policies for learning content and quality, including internal/external sources and integrations with ‘digital platform’ sources

  • Create, manage, and implement standards/policies for internal content, ensuring application of best practices across all mediums and all LOBs
  • Create and oversee QA and testing of all content in the LMS platforms
  • Partner with instructional designers and key stakeholders to ensure materials are updated and relevant
  • Oversee and administer the LMS functions including creation/maintenance of catalogs and curricula, and creating/modifying/maintaining course components
  • Produce and maintain system documentation
  • Provide regular technical support to users, including franchise administrators, and leverage support information to improve the LMS and production content


Build and maintain an evaluation strategy to drive adoption and utilization of digital learning systems

  • Implement dashboards and maintain all learning records to ensure consistency and quality of all data from learning systems
  • Develop set of regular metrics to support analysis, measurement of content effectiveness, and return on investment
  • Responsible for all LMS reporting requests from various departments and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent, with strong academic credentials in related field
  • 5-8 years' experience with learning technology (LXPs, eLearning software, video content system, external content, virtual meeting platforms, learning analytical systems)
  • Significant expertise in SCORM, AICC, xAPI
  • Demonstrate effective communication with all levels of the organization; ability to work as a team and independently
  • Executes work with minimal guidance; able to lead execution of pilots and innovative projects
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
